• Meticulously handmade by Tensira, a family-owned company based in Guinea, West Africa. Tensira contributes to the preservation of heritage artisanal techniques. Working with the finest cotton, Tensira artisans are skilled in hand-dyeing, weaving and sewing. The BR Home range has been made in the traditional West African tie-dye method by which patterns are sewn into the fabric with a needle and thread before coloring. A single design can contain up to 3500 stitches, creating intricate patterns in the dye vat which will only be revealed once the piece has been dried and the thread cut loose and unraveled.
